Family Footsteps Susila

Family Footsteps is a four-part documentary series, creating a sliding-doors experience for four young people by returning them to their migrant parent's homeland. Faced with challanges and surprises along the way interpid explorers live as locals, experiencing how their lives could be today if fate had taken a different course and their parents had not emigrated.
We have watched the documentary about Susila travelling in the footsteps of her family's past and confronts the issues close to her heart. India is vibrant with colour, spirituality and music, and it's the music that provides Susila with an opportunity to learn about the culture. India is a backdrop for the journey of self-discovery, as she finds out more about her family and culture and more about herself.
